Year 3

Year 3 have continued to experiment and investigate as a grade how objects change states of matter and the impact of various factors. In these photos we are investigating the time it took for ice to melt. Some groups broke up their ice cube, other groups held it in their hands and applied heat, whilst other groups didn’t touch the ice at all during the experiment. During this experiment we learnt that the broken ice was the quickest to melt, whilst the untouched ice cube took the longest.
