Environment 

During the last week students we have received the fruit trees chosen by students in KGT. 

These are  a dwarf Red Fuji Apple, a dwarf Pink Lady Apple, a Santa Rosa Plum , Trevatt Apricot, Champion Quince and Starkrimson Cherry 

The students have been working hard digging holes and preparing for the care of the plants.  They would love your help  to make sure the planting, preparation and on-going care helps the trees grow and produce fruit for the B.P.P.S. community to share in the future. 

We have a great selection of seeds to plant as the weather warms up.

School Animals 

A very big thank you to Melissa Lewis who has built a beautiful and very unique cage for the guinea pigs. It is a deluxe unit known as the Rolls Royce ! You may see it rolling from class to class with the very spoilt Pancake and Ratatouille enjoying the luxury. 

We enjoyed pancakes made with our school eggs during a KGT session last term. Once again Melissa Lewis supported us in this effort with her great idea and willingness to cook for the team!

The vegetable garden will soon have many seeds growing and will need care and watering over the warmer months.  

PLEASE JOIN US 

During our KGT environment program scheduled for every Thursday after lunch - 2.30 - 3.30pm we work together to embrace ideas and to act on initiatives that care for our school and our planet. 

We need parents to join us for as much time as you can spare. As little as 15 minutes would be a great help! 

Please think about whether you could do this as part of your pick up on a Thursday afternoon.
