CLOTHES 4U INC

 Spring newsletter

The daffodils are blooming, the trees are blossoming, and our weather is so changeable that one day its sunny and warm and the next it is stormy, windy and cold. But that does not mean that we do not have clothes for all seasons, available right now, and as usual, FREE to all our clients.

At this time of the year, we still have warm coats, jumpers, pants and shoes waiting for those who need some warmth, during the day and in the cooler evenings. Many of the people who have been coming lately have really appreciated that they have been able to find clothing and footwear and even toiletries and bedding, beyond their expectations. And now with warmer weather coming too, we have a supply of clothes and footwear for spring and summer, including some swimwear. The racing season also brings a demand for clothes suitable for the festivities, and we even have some hats.

As always, we have a range of clothing suitable for everyday wear as well as for job interviews, for work experience and for starting a new job. We provide clothes suitable for court appearances or to attend a special occasion such as a formal or a wedding or a funeral. Others may be coming out of hospital or adjusting to a new clothing size after losing or gaining weight. Whatever the need, we try to find clothes, including men’s suits, that will suit the occasion, and with great success. Finding the right clothes can lift the spirits and increase a person’s confidence. Our client feedback attests to the success of our caring approach.

While many of our clients come from local towns, especially Rosebud, Capel Sound and Tootgarook, many others come from as far away as Moorabbin and Frankston, Hastings, Mornington and Cranbourne. Many of these people often come with a carer who provides transport and advice, and they always feel welcome when they come to our Boutique or to our Men’s shop. Thanks to our agencies who refer clients to us, they become aware of the services that we provide for everyone who comes to us. Our marketing team has provided agencies with many information envelopes with details of our services. If you need more, let us know.

Remember that all items are FREE to our clients. Our clothes and shoes are either new or recycled and of good quality. We give our clients time to look and to find what they need, and we support them in making their choices. We provide for people of all ages from teens to 90+ year olds, and we stock a large range of sizes from small to extra-extra-large.

Please encourage your clients in need to come and see us.

For an appointment, phone Shirley, the Clothes4U booking officer, on 0490 058 596.

NEW MURAL COMING TO ROSEBUD MAIN STREET

World-renowned portrait and mural artist Matt Adnate will bring his talents to the Mornington Peninsula this October in a new mural commissioned by the Gathering Tree Collective community shop with the support of the Mornington Peninsula Shire.

Adnate will be painting at 1095 Point Nepean Rd, Rosebud, between September 30 and October 11, 2024.

Come by, check out his work and meet Matt Adnate.

During this time, the Gathering Tree Collective will host a range of community activities for the whole family.

The Mural

The mural will celebrate the natural diversity, and the diversity of the community, of the Southern Mornington Peninsula.

Matt’s signature photorealistic style and detailed composition will feature vibrant colours reflective of our coastal community, local flora, and representations of the many people and from many backgrounds that make up the Peninsula.
