PBL - Positive Behaviour For Learning
The PBL expectations that students have learnt over the past two weeks are the following:
- I am a problem solver
- I play fairly
The important details from the lessons were:
I am a problem solver
- We can show resilience by solving our own problems
- We do not give up at the first sign of frustration
- We can understand what to do when we are stuck with our work
I play fairly
- By playing fairly I demonstrate respect for others, follow rules and exhibit good sportsmanship.
- By playing fairly I understand right from wrong and value who I play with.
- By playing fairly I learn about self-control, conflict-resolution and teamwork.
- When I play fairly I can keep myself and others safe on the yard and during P.E. lessons.
Please continue to check in with your child and ask them about the weekly PBL lesson and what the behaviour expectation is for the week.
Physical Education
Year 3/4 Gala day
Last Friday the Year 3/4 students attended the Interschool Cricket Gala hosted by cricket Victoria at Princes Highway reserve. We had 5 teams competing 2 x boys, 2 x girls and 1 mixed. Students followed the Cricket Blast format and participated against 4 other schools from our district. Well done to all students who participated and for your encouragement of one another, team spirit and positive sportsmanship and thank you to all the parent helpers that assisted on the day.
