Message from the Principal

St Peter’s School - an empowered faith community to enrich the world.

Dear Families,

Welcome to Week 5 of Term 4!

I hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend and the sunshine that we have been blessed with recently. It gives energy for the last few weeks of term which, as always, look like being busy!

This time of the year is always a mix of preparing to farewell our Year 6 students as well as welcoming our Foundation students for 2025. And of course preparing for the seasons of Advent and Christmas.

We have changed our Carols celebration this year. Students will finish the year singing a range of carols on the last day of term - Tuesday 17 December at 12:15pm, leading to a 1pm finish. Please put this date in your calendar.

Communication

We are always looking at ways to improve our communication systems! It is important that you read the newsletter every fortnight and respond to emails sent via SIMON as these are our two main ways of sharing information and keeping you up to date with what is happening in the school. Permissions for school events are also sent through SIMON and received by you on the PAM app.

There are also Whatsapp groups for each class to join.

If you can think of ways we can improve our communication to you, please let us know.

P&F News

Colour Fun Run

Our amazing P&F are organising a Colour Fun Run to be held next week- Friday 15 November at 2:15pm.

It is not too late to create an account and raise some money!

All students will participate in the fun run next Friday afternoon. Families are encouraged to come along and cheer and join in the fun.

What to wear to school on the day:

  • White t-shirt (that you don't mind being covered in coloured powder!)
  • Old runners
  • Shorts that can be coloured
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • You also might like to bring some glasses to protect eyes during the fun run

We are so excited to see all the HAPPY KIDS & PROUD PARENTS on event day!

The more money we raise during the Fun run, the sooner we can upgrade our outdoor space!

Uniform

Just a reminder regarding the renewed uniform that all students are expected to be wearing in 2025.

Please read the information in this newsletter carefully- there is a lot we are trying to communicate!

I hope that everyone has a great week.
