Literacy
We have now finished the class novel ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’. Read some reports from the students!
Kensuke’s Kingdom was and interesting book. It was about a boy who got washed of a boat and woke up on an island. He met Kensuke who was a Japanese man who had been living on the island for many years. Kensuke didn’t like people, but he liked orangutans. They become friends but there were always little fights. The boy wanted to stay but he also wanted to go home to his family. The ending was really good.

I liked the book. I loved how it kept getting us excited about what was going to happen next. There were lots of happy and sad moments, but the ending was my favourite part. By Ada
Maths
Students have been working on developing their multiplication skills and have also learned about chance and data. As the year approaches the end, students have also been completing testing. We have been so proud of the resilience and effort that they have put in and we have seen some pleasing results.
In maths we have been learning multiplication. I am learning my seven times tables. It is fun. By Jacob
Inquiry
During Inquiry, students have been putting their skills into practise by turning their stories into an animation. It has been great to see the students getting creative and working together as teams.
