Christmas in the Philippines

In F/1B, we are fortunate enough to have three students from the Philippines. To celebrate their Christmas, we thought we would create a Filipino parol, which is a beautiful and vibrant Christmas lantern.  The lanterns are very special to the Philippines and is a symbol of hope and happiness. It represents the Star of Bethlehem, the bright star that guided the Wise Men.

Grade 2

On Tuesday students sang Christmas Carols at the Aged Care and decorated Christmas decorations together.
