Year 9 Newsletter

As we are nearing the end of the 2024 academic year, we encourage all students to finish strongly and successfully. November 28th is the final day for all assessment tasks to be submitted. Friday November 29th is a student free day, students should expect their timetable for transition week to be loaded into Compass for Transition Week:  2nd of November – 6th of November. 

Some advice for students is to set a date for completing a task so that it motivates you to get it done on time. If no deadline is set, there may not be a direct incentive for you to complete a task until a certain moment in time, which usually means that it takes longer than it should

Year 9 Camp

Students and parents should regularly check for updates for the upcoming Phillip Island Camp 9th of December- 12th of December. School camps provide the perfect opportunity for students to experience positive interactions with each other outside of the classroom. Fun activities, team sports and teamwork challenges both help develop new relationships and deepen existing bonds of friendship for the 2025 academic year.
