Wellbeing & Culture

Tuesday the 3rd of December was International Day of People with Disability. As a school, we celebrate our students and community from all walks of life. It was amazing to see the wonderful and creative activities that the students participated in yesterday to recognise the day.

I particularly loved a letter that one of our Prep classes, PEC, wrote to our principal Mr Holdsworth. In the letter the students talked about why inclusion of people living with a disability was so important and made some wonderful suggestions to our Principal on how we could improve our school to be more inclusive to People with Disabilities.

2 of the students personally came into the office and did a wonderful job of presenting their letter to the Principal and explaining their thoughts.  As a result I know that Mr Holdsworth was very impressed and explained some of the things the school has planned similar to their own suggestions.

Well done to everyone with all their effort.
