Thanks again to all the School Captain candidates, you all did an amazing job last week. We are relaunching our Student Leadership Team in 2025 and would like your feedback. Executive are proposing the following:
- Students in years 3-6 in 2025 will have the opportunity to self-nominate for the Student Leadership Team.
- Students and staff from each year group will vote for 2 students to represent their year.
- These students will form the Student Leadership Team along with our School Captains and Vice Captains and will have the opportunity to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference in March 2025 (GRIP stands for Generosity, Responsibility, Integrity and People). This conference aims to concentrate specifically on training student leaders. Students will also have the opportunity to work along side executive and teachers to embed student voice throughout our school.
Encouraging leadership and teaching students about how to be leaders, supports them to discover ways they can positively contribute to our school. Last week's speeches showed what wonderful leaders we have and highlighted their huge potential. I am excited to see what they can achieve in 2025.

Student reports will be released on Schoolbytes on Friday 13 December. If you need to speak with your child's class teacher about reports, please phone or email the school and the class teacher will get back to you with a suitable time.
