Reminders
Curriculum Day
A reminder to all families that we will have a student free day on Friday the 29th of October as we prepare for 2025. Please make sure you have made child care arrangements for this day.
Term 4 Routines
As we move into the final half of Term 4, we kindly ask that families continue to prioritise school routines, maintaining regular start and finish times for the remainder of the term. Consistency in arrival and dismissal times is crucial, as late arrivals or early departures can significantly impact student learning.
We have noticed that some families frequently collect children early from school, which disrupts valuable learning time. While we understand that attending specialist appointments may require early pick-ups or late arrivals, we ask that family events such as shopping trips, birthdays, etc., not be used as reasons to miss school.
Transition to 2025
To support our learners transitioning into 2025, we will hold three "step-up" events for our Year Prep to Year 5 students. The first two sessions will focus on Literacy on Monday, December 2, and Numeracy on Tuesday, December 3, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in their new learning spaces for 2025. On the Statewide Transition Day, Tuesday, December 10, students will spend time with their 2025 class and teacher, provided mentor teachers have been finalized by that day.
Transition Days
• Session 2: Tuesday, November 26, 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Literacy session for Parents/Carers
• Session 3: Tuesday, December 10, 9:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Maths and Literacy sessions for Parents/Carers to provide guidance on supporting their children at home.
Leaving us in 2025?
Please let the school office know as soon as possible if you are planning to leave our school for the 2025 school year, or in Term 4 of 2024. This will assist us in forward planning our class lists, and ensures all students are placed with a friend for the 2025 school year.
