Consent for this fluoride varnish application was provided when students’ initial consent forms were returned. However, if anyone has changed their mind and do not wish to receive a fluoride varnish application, they can contact Cohealth directly to let them know.

Week 5 SWPBS Focus: We look after our school by eating inside

This week, we’re focusing on keeping our school and playground clean by reducing the amount of rubbish we bring to school. As part of our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) lesson, students are learning the importance of taking care of our school environment by eating their food inside during designated "eating time."This helps reduce the amount of rubbish taken outside, where it can easily become litter.

We encourage families to support these efforts by minimising the number of wrappers in lunchboxes whenever possible. Opting for reusable containers and unpackaged snacks is a great way to help!

Here are some helpful conversation points for discussing this with your child:

  • Eat during eating time: Reinforce the importance of enjoying their food during designated times.
  • Put rubbish in the bin: Encourage responsibility by reminding them to always dispose of rubbish properly.
  • Limit wrappers in lunchboxes: Explore ways to pack lunches with minimal packaging to reduce waste.

EveryBODY Education Program Parent Information Session

In Week 3 this term, the EveryBODY Education Program hosted an informative session for parents, covering a range of essential topics to help our students develop a strong understanding of personal safety, respect, and healthy relationships.

Thank you to all the parents who participated in the session. We greatly appreciate your involvement and support in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students.
