2024 HOLY ROSARY COLOUR RUN

The Colour Explosion School Fun Run was a huge success. We could not have had better weather for this event, and it was fantastic to see the spirit and enthusiasm that was displayed in supporting our school. You can certainly see how much fun the students have on this day. A big thank you to all the family and friends that turned up to support and cheer us on. A special mention to Tamara McIntosh and the P&F who organised such a big event and all the work in setting up the fundraising.

A big thank you to over 100 families who kindly donated to achieve an overall total of $10,200. Congratulations to our three highest individual fundraisers in Millie and Chaz Walsh ($390), Archie King ($385) and Bodhi Dinsdale ($380)

Student incentive prizes have been ordered and are on their way! They will arrive shortly and will be distributed to students accordingly. Again, our most sincere thanks for your support and fundraising efforts.

F-2 & GRADE 6 SWIMMING LESSONS - WEEK 8

The swimming lessons at Gurri Wanyarra are approaching quickly. The lessons run over 4 days (Tues - Fri) in week 8.

The swimming lesson times for each year level are:

  • Grade 6 - 11am
  • Grade 2 - 11:45am
  • Grade 1 - 12:30pm
  • Foundation - 1:15pm

**These are different to the bus times. Buses will leave 30 minutes before hand. Please check your PAM note for this information and anything further that you may need to know. The Grade 6 students will be making up their lessons due to missing it in term 1 with their school camp.

*** lunch orders for Grade 6 will be ready at 12:15pm for when they return and for Grade 2 at 11am before they leave.

Thursday the 28th of November is a Water Safety Day. Please pack a spare t-shirt and shorts your child can wear in the water. These can be casual clothes - they don't need to be a school uniform.

It is extremely helpful if your child can wear their bathers underneath their school uniform to school. A pair of slip-on shoes (thongs, slides, etc.) can be worn to and from the pool but students must wear their normal school shoes to and from school.
