Results for Centre of Italian Studies Junior Italian Poetry Competition 2024

Results for the CIS Junior Italian Poetry Competition 2024 are finally in. A massive congratulations to Aaryan 7I, who has won First Prize (Primo Premio) for the Year 7 category (state wide). We are very proud of Aaryan and all the students who participated in this event. 

Poetry recitation assists with pronunciation in Italian, building confidence and developing public speaking skills. Recitation is a highly valuable experience in learning a language and this competition is an excellent way to enrich the study of the Italian language and culture. 

This competition is run each year for Years 7 & 8 studying Italian.  Students in Years 9-12 have the opportunity to participate in the Dante Alighieri Poetry Recitation Competition.
