ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to select a fiction  text  from either their blue satchel or a book from home or the public library.

After reading the story, engage in a discussion with your child and ask them to identify all the characters  in  the story. Then, they can identify and discuss the events and the setting of the story.  Encourage them to retell the story in their own words, including all the details and adjectives (descriptive words) to make the retell interesting for the listener.
