Final Working Bee for 2024

Thank you to all who came to the last Working Bee for the year. We started out with a barbeque breakfast cooked up by the property team, of eggs, bacon and hashbrown muffins to fuel everyone up for the morning.

Everyone was eager to make a start before the heat so off they went. Pressure washing seemed to be the job of choice for the day with a few people happy to get wet while washing the buildings and cleaning paths. We had a great crew cleaning up some areas in the playground so kids can make cubby houses. We also had crews moving mulch through Junior Secondary and moving soil to top dress the oval.

There were posts painted and tables cleaned and the removal of built up leaf litter beside buildings thus helping keep the school fire safe.

We also had all of the school tents put up and condition checked ready for camps.

The day went well with everyone pushing through with the warm day. 

Thank you all for your efforts this year helping keep the school looking great for our students.

We will be glad to see everyone again when we start up again next year. Keep your eyes out for the upcoming dates and a couple of twilight Working Bees on a weekday during daylight savings, to make these more accessible to you.
