Australian Maths Competition

Good Morning

Every year, our brilliant Year 3 to Year 6 students have the exciting opportunity to put their maths skills to the test in the Australian Maths Competition! 

This isn’t your ordinary maths quiz—these questions cover everything from number and geometry to algebra, measurement, statistics, probability, and even some tricky problem solving.   There are 30 questions in total, challenging our students to think creatively and mathematically.

Now, let’s give a huge round of applause to all our amazing participants. Whether you’re a maths whiz or gave it your best shot, you should be proud of your efforts. 

And guess what? Every student who completed the competition earned a special certificate!  Credit Awards were earned by Clancy, Hannah, Kingston, Zoe, Sam, Ryder, Matilda, Evan,  and Reaghan.  Great job, everyone!

Now for a very special announcement: Edward Isted from Grade 4 deserves an extra round of applause. Not only did Edward earn a Distinction for his impressive performance, but he also scored the best result in our entire school! Way to go, Edward!

Congratulations to Edward and to all our fantastic students who participated. Keep shining, mathematicians!
