Joyeuse journée française!

As we approach the final four weeks of school, I want to remind everyone of the importance of consistent attendance at school. These weeks are crucial for finishing the year strong and ensuring our children don’t miss out on valuable lessons and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth.

Every class builds on the last, and being present not only deepens students’ understanding and learning but also strengthens the bonds we share as a Catholic community. Let’s finish the year together, committed to being here each day, ready to learn and grow in faith and knowledge. Each student’s presence is a blessing, and together we can support one another as we prepare for the next chapter!

As the months warm up, I also want to highlight the importance of sun safety, especially wearing hats. The sun can be strong, and it’s essential to protect our skin from sunburn and long-term damage.

Wearing a wide-brimmed hat is not just a school rule; it’s a key way to keep our children and yourselves safe. Hats protect your face, neck, and ears from harmful UV rays and promote smart sun habits.

Let’s make sun safety a priority! Please remember to ensure that your children have a school hat to wear during outdoor activities, apply sunscreen, and seek shade when needed.

Together, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable time at school for everyone.

We were absolutely delighted to celebrate French Day at school today! This special event showcased the beauty of French language, culture, and traditions through a variety of engaging activities, games, and delightful food. Our very own circus featured clowns, a performing dog, and a vibrant carnival room, adding to the excitement!

Students dove into themed activities, embarked on a museum treasure hunt to uncover French artifacts, enjoyed a spirited soccer game, and indulged in delicious French treats. It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in blue, white, and red, a true reflection of their appreciation for the French culture we've been exploring.

A heartfelt thank you to Madame Gatehouse for helping to create such a memorable day filled with joy and learning!
