🎒 Welcome Back to Term 3 – 2025!

We’re excited to welcome everyone back for an action-packed Term 3! We hope you had a restful break and are ready for all the exciting learning and events ahead.

🌟 Big News – We’ve Grown!

We’re thrilled to announce the creation of our 4th class, thanks to our growing school community. This decision has been made to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality teaching and learning environment for all students.

The creation of this new class will lead to smaller class sizes across the affected year group(s). This allows teachers to better tailor their instruction to meet the needs of individual students, provide more opportunities for student participation, and maintain strong connections between students and teachers.

Extension Opportunities

With smaller class sizes, teachers will have greater flexibility to extend and enrich learning for high-achieving students. There will be increased opportunities for differentiated tasks, targeted group work, and individualised learning pathways to challenge and engage students working above stage outcomes.

Additional Support

We are also able to allocate increased support for students who require additional assistance with their learning. The appointment of an extra class teacher allows for more targeted intervention, more small-group instruction, and stronger academic and wellbeing support across classrooms.

🏅 Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

Last term, our PBL program was a huge success – and we’re aiming to match or beat it this term! It’s all about recognising and rewarding students for showing respect, responsibility, and resilience.

Our "Catch a Good Kid" system continues: when students are spotted doing the right thing, they’ll receive a token that goes toward exciting end-of-term rewards. We love seeing students step up and lead by example!

🎉 Rewards Day is Coming! We’re already planning a fantastic Rewards Day to celebrate students who consistently make great choices. Keep up the amazing effort – we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

📣 P&C Meeting – You're Invited!

Our next P&C meeting will be held on Tuesday night at 5:30 PM at the Yanco Club.

This is a great opportunity to stay informed, share ideas, and get involved in supporting our school community.

Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, we'd love to see you there! Come along, have your say, and help make a difference.

We’re proud of the effort and committment our girls are bringing to the incredible Wakakirri Dance Group! Students have created an energetic performance,  telling a story  through movement and rhythm. They will be travelling to Canberra with Miss Williams and Miss Jeffs next week!
