Dear Families,
As we wrap up Term 2, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all members of our school community for your ongoing support and engagement throughout what has been a busy and rewarding term.
This term has been filled with a wide range of rich learning experiences and community events that have brought us together and showcased the strength of our school culture. Highlights have included the Year 2–4 swimming program, the Year 6 camp, and our exciting Expo Day last week, where students proudly shared their learning with peers, staff and families.
We celebrated Mother’s Day with a beautiful community morning, supported the Red Shield Appeal through Kingswood’s fundraising efforts and enjoyed some well-earned treats on Donut Day. Our students also took part in the Didge, Beats and Culture performances, exploring rhythm, storytelling and cultural expression through music and movement.
These activities, along with many others across the term, reflect our commitment to providing meaningful, well-rounded learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
As we look ahead to Term 3, we’ll also be saying goodbye to Ms. Neena Hunt, who will begin her family leave early in the term as she prepares to welcome her new baby. We thank Neena for the care, energy and expertise she brings to her classroom and we wish her all the very best for this exciting new chapter. We are pleased to welcome Ms. Courtney Stelling to our teaching team, who will be stepping into the role during Neena’s absence.
As we head into the holiday break, I encourage all families to take the time to rest, recharge and enjoy time together. We look forward to welcoming students back for Term 3, ready for another exciting term of growth and connection.
Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday period.
