Sports Bulletin

Secondary Sport
Welcome back to Term 3, a term full of energy, opportunity, and anticipation as we launch into the QGSSSA Winter Fixtures and our Club Sport programs. We hope our students, families, and staff had a restful break and are ready for a term of spirited competition and continued personal growth.
This Saturday 19 July marks the beginning of Round 1 of the QGSSSA Winter Fixtures, with Clayfield College set to take on Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School in Hockey, Netball, Tennis, and Volleyball. Our teams have prepared with focus and dedication, and we look forward to seeing their hard work on display.
Our BBI Club Basketball teams also resume their Winter season, with fixtures scheduled across Friday evening and Saturday. We thank our players and families for their ongoing commitment to the Club program.
In parallel, QGSSSA Athletics training is now underway. This is a valuable opportunity for girls in Years 7 to 12 to enhance their speed, strength, and skill in the lead-up to the QGSSSA Athletics Championships. We encourage all interested athletes to get involved.
For up-to-date information on training schedules, fixtures, venues, and competition details, we encourage families to use the Clayfield College App. This is the primary source of notifications and updates throughout the season, and we strongly recommend all community members ensure notifications are enabled.
We extend our best wishes to all students participating in sport this term. May the weeks ahead be filled with teamwork, courage, and unforgettable moments.
Go Clayfield!
