Hello Families,
Welcome to Term 3!
It’s been so lovely to see our school alive with energy again after the break. Students have settled in beautifully, and even though it’s a short one, there's some exciting programs planned.
Term 3 is always a special one—it’s where we see so much growth, connection and confidence unfold. Classroom staff will continue to work on the Individual Goals you all set at the beginning of the year whilst also exploring innovative ways to teach Literacy and Numeracy at your child’s level that is age meaningful.
We’ve got a full term ahead, with lots to look forward to—and plenty of moments to smile about along the way!
Sickness at School Reminder
It is that time of the year where we are seeing a lot of illness. We are seeing an influx of COVID-19 and flu within our community. This is having a huge impact on our students, staff, and I’m sure for you all at home! If your child is showing any signs of being unwell, please keep them at home. If your child does become unwell at school, we will call for collection to ensure the illness does not spread through our site.
Staffing update
As a school we are still facing a teacher shortage. Our classroom vacancies are due to the growth our student numbers over the past few years. We are working hard with the Department of Education to explore all recruitment opportunities.

Welcome back - Kate Slingo
Some of you will remember having Kate as your teacher a few years ago. We are so lucky to have Kate back in a leadership role, teaching and leading in the Prep team.
Pick up and drop off reminder
Please remember not to double park outside Gate 1 on the slip lane. As frustrating as it is, please do a loop and come back around. We do not open the gate until 9am and 3pm due to time taken to load the buses. There seems to be an increase in cars being fined.
Student Attitude to School Survey
Each year our students participate in the “Student Attitude to School Survey AtoSS”, this has been completed during class time this week. The AtoSS provides data on student opinions about school and is used to support schools with student wellbeing, engagement, school improvement and planning – The data collected plays in important role in the development of our Strategic Plan and Annual Implementation Plan.
Wishing you all a great Term 3!
