Reminders:
Access to Level 2 after hours
There have been instances where Prep families have been on Level 2 after school hours when picking up their child from clubs to look for lost items. Please note that there is no access to Level 2 after 3:30pm without a staff member. If your child has lost an item, they will be able to look for it the following day.

Due to the Book Fair next week, the Year 1s will not be borrowing any new books next week. They do not need to bring their Library bag into school on Monday. We will be visiting the library to see the Book Fair instead.

Homework:
It has been lovely to see so many faces on our Mathseeds posters this week. This means that your child is applying their learning from school. Thank you for your support in instilling a strong homework routine for your child.
The expectation is 1 lesson of Mathseeds completed a week (Sunday - Saturday). Please remember that Sunday starts the new week.
The other homework expectation is reading 4 nights for 15 minutes. This is to be written in your child's diary and signed. Diaries should come to school every day.
Parent Volunteers:
We are seeking parent volunteers for our upcoming Craftpower In-Visit. To learn more, please read the email sent by Miss Niamh. If you would like to register your interest, please email Miss Niamh at Niamh.crowley@smps.vic.edu.au. To volunteer, you will need a valid Working with Children's Check.

Wednesday 10th - Friday 12th September: Camp at YMCA Anglesea
Reminders:
Devices
Throughout the week, students use their devices to access their learning. We have noticed that many devices are coming into school with under 50% charge at the start of the day. We kindly ask you to support your child by setting them up with a routine at home to ensure their device is charged. Please also check that passcodes and non-school apps are not on their iPads as this can interfere with their learning in class.
Reading Diaries
Each week, your child's classroom teacher checks their reading diaries to monitor homework and reading habits. It is the expectation that students are reading at home four days a week and writing this in their reading diary.

Wednesday 10th September-Friday 12th September: Year 3/4 Camp @ YMCA Anglesea
Reminders:
Camp
Camp is coming up next month! Soon, we will send home a packing list so you can ensure your child has everything they need for camp. Please ensure the remaining balance owing for camp has been paid. If you have any issues, please see the office.

Reminders:
Reading & AR Quizzes
Students are expected to read for at least 30 minutes each evening and record their reading in their student diary. AR quizzes should be completed at school once they have finished their book. With only four weeks left to reach their targets this term, students are encouraged to keep working hard.
Morning Arrival
Students should arrive at school by 8:45am and no later than 9:00am, as teachers mark the roll between 9:00 and 9:05am. The expectation is for them to be in class by this time. If your student walks to school please remind them of this expectation. Soccer and basketball games can be played at recess and lunch, not before school after 8:45am. If students need to go to the bathroom, they are welcome to do this on Level 5, so they can be accounted for during the morning roll.
