Parent/Student Interviews

The second parent-teacher interviews for the year were held on Tuesday, 22nd July, with a combination of phone and face-to-face meetings.

It was great to see some parents and carers at the face-to-face interviews when students were returning to the College after the school holidays.

Parents and carers who were unable to attend can contact their child’s teachers or trainers to seek feedback on their progress to date, as required.

Some staff members were unable to be present on the day due to having to take leave at short notice. These staff members may have already made contact or will follow up once they return from leave over the next week or so.

School Photos

School photos are scheduled for Monday, 11th August. Parents and carers will receive, if they have not already, an email with details and information about school photo day.

Please assist by checking with your child that they have the correct uniform and it is clean and available for the day.

The uniform for students is as follows: full Class uniform (class pants, class shirt, College tie, class jumper, and polished boots) and students should be appropriately groomed as per College handbook.

NOTE: All students are to wear their full Class uniform to school and bring their change of uniform if they are normally rostered to Farm or Trades.

Attached is a copy of the schedule for the morning.

Year 12 Students

Term 3 is the business end of the year for Year 12 students. There are a variety of emotions and stresses that students experience as they finish this stage of their lives and transition into the next -  this is normal and we are here to assist.

Students need to stay focused during their final term, applying themselves as best they can in all of their subjects and courses. Regular attendance is essential and absences should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. If you have any queries or concerns about your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to contact the College for clarification or assistance.

Over the coming weeks, I will be meeting with Year 12 students to provide an update on their progress towards their WACE, to help provide focus and direction for their remaining time at the College.

Have a great weekend!
