SWIMMING  AGE  CHAMPIONS

At today’s assembly we awarded the Age Group champions from our swimming sports held alongside St Brigid’s College in February. These are the students who received the most points in their age group by participating in many different events. Massive congratulations to: 

9/10 boys runner-up age group champion: Noah S

9/10 boys age group champion: Oliver B

9/10 girls runner-up age group champion: Maella W

9/10 girls age group champion: Evelyn H 

11 boys runner-up age group champion: Aston S

11 boys age group champion: Kobe A

11 girls runner-up age group champion: Harper O

11 girls age group champion: Layla G

12/13 boys runner-up age group champion: Blake G

12/13 boys age group champion: Ranger U

A big shout out also goes to all the Grampians (green house) swimmers who took out the overall house shield!

LITTLE  DESERT SWIMMING  CARNIVAL

On Wednesday Layla, Evelyn, Kobe & Ranger swam at the Little Desert Swimming carnival at Horsham Aquatic Centre. It was tough competition on the day, however all the students still swam incredible races! Ranger and Kobe will continue on to Greater Western Region swimming later this month. We are so proud of all of your efforts!! 

TENNIS

Yesterday, Steph, Jagger and Nick represented SMJ at the Little Desert tennis. They versed students from around Horsham as well as from Balmoral and Edenhope. They all did such a wonderful job supporting each other and playing fair, having to umpire and score their own matches. We are so proud of all of you! Congratulations to Nick who will continue on to Greater Western Region Tennis!
