Foundation 

In Maths, the students have shown wonderful progress on their number formation. Knowing that we always start at the top and making sure we don't write them reversed! We are continuing to learn to identify numbers up to 10 quickly and are using materials to make the numbers e.g. blocks, and counters.

In Reading, we have been learning to use our knowledge of the focus phonemes to sound out CVC (consonate, vowel, consonant) words. We have been practising pointing to each letter and saying the phoneme, then running our fingers across all letters to blend the word. Some of these words include sat, cat, mop, cap, map, pot, cot. 

During Investigations, we have been working on including others in our play. We have talked about using kind words and how we ask others to be a part of our play. We are enjoying investigating with all the prep classes and finding new friends to investigate with. 

With our Prep rest days coming to an end, the students' sports days will be changing. Students are only required to wear their sports uniform on their class' sports day. The allocated sports days are as follows: 

Mrs Haase - Tuesday 

Miss Janetzki - Wednesday 

Mrs C - Thursday
