Inquiry

In Inquiry this term we have been learning about the arrival of the First Fleet, settlement and the effect this had on settlers and our First Nations people. We studied some powerful pictures and portrayals from this time and discussed what life might have been like for people at that time, their sufferings; how people traded and worked to survive and the development of the land.

As this is the end of our unit after our learning we reflected and asked what we would like to learn more about this topic. We independently used our research skills to research and answer our wonderings. Here are some questions we researched-
