Last Thursday we celebrated Harmony Day. It was wonderful to see all the children take part in the celebration with many dressed in cultural clothing or in the colour orange. Just as the picture says above 'Everyone Belongs at Aitken Hill Primary School'. Harmony Day recognises and celebrates our diversity and brings together Australians for all different backgrounds. It is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. These values connect very well to our school values of CARE for self, CARE for others and CARE for our school.
