Week 9, Term 1

PA

Russell

Well done for being a resilient learner! During Literacy lessons you showed determination by using classroom materials to help you with writing and never give up even if it is tricky. You showed your ability to see mistakes as learning opportunities, for example, when learning how we edit spelling mistakes. I'm very proud of you, well done Russell!

PN

Niya

For being a resilient learner who overcame her fear of participating in our Palm Sunday to shine as an actor.  Niya learned how to get dressed up independently,  where to sit, when to stand up and where to walk too when she was ready to sing. Well done Niya, you should be so proud of yourself.

1/2C

Steele

For being a motivated learner during our writing lessons. You managed to challenge yourself in a focus group, by actively listening and contributing fantastic ideas which helped you create an engaging problem in your narrative. Keep up your excellent efforts Steele!

1/2S

Miesha

For being a kind and collaborative learner who always has a big, beautiful smile on her face. When another student was upset this week, you put your arm around them and did everything you could to cheer them up. It is actions like this that make you a warm and welcoming member of 1/2S. How lucky are we to have someone like you in our class. Thank you, Miesha!

1/2A

Jake

For being a collaborative learner who has worked so well with his peers. You have the ability to work with anyone and if there is someone without a partner you are the first to run up and include them in your group. This is just so wonderful to see. Well done Jake, what a superstar!

3/4L

Frankie

for being a motivated learner who has shown impressive organisational skills by returning her homework pack weekly the entire term! You should be very proud of your commitment to developing your reading and spelling, well done!

3/4O

Jacqlyn

For being a curious learner when researching a neighbouring country of Australia. Jacqlyn demonstrates an inquisitive attitude towards New Zealand and is eager to explore and question the similarities and differences with Australia. Your passion and excitement for learning is inspiring, keep up the great work Jacqlyn!

3/4S

Aadvi

For being a motivated learner. Aadvi is always eager to learn new things and asks thoughtful questions in class. She is not afraid to challenge herself and take on new tasks. She is also a helpful and supportive classmate, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

5/6N

Mary

For being a motivated learner who is always ready to put her hand up for helping others and working towards your goals.  An example of this was when you were willing to be part of the Prep Liturgy. Keep up the positive focus towards your work and others.

5/6K

Tanish

For being a reflective learner in Inquiry this week. You challenged yourself to experiment with a variety of question styles to demonstrate your understanding. Once complete, you reflected on what questions could be further refined and applied teacher feedback to take your learning to the next level. Keep up the focussed attitude towards your learning Tanish!

5/6S

Rozelle

For being a creative learner, who uses her imagination to present things in different ways.  An example of this is the beautiful artwork you created for the Hobson Bay exhibition with Jan-Maree. Keep producing creative work showcasing your talents Rozelle!
