P&F News

Wow!!! Where did the first term go?
The P&F Committee hasn’t been very present this term, however, we have been working hard in the background with some exciting activities for the School for this year!
We have been donated so many amazing games, chocolates, books, and vouchers for our Easter raffle that we would like to thank our school community for! The smiles and joy the winners showed at the drawing after the Mad Hatter's Parade was priceless.
Next term we have a few events happening, so make sure to put them on your calendar! Firstly, we have the Annual School Disco which is happening in Week Two on Wednesday 24th April at 4.30pm at the Bedfordale Hall.
Following that, we have our Mother’s Day bacon and egg sandwich breakfast, free for all mums and motherly figures to enjoy at school drop-off. We decided to do something a little different this year, to alleviate some of the stress and workload from our tired P&F Committee. Instead of a stall for the children to choose gifts for mum, we are doing a Krispy Kreme Donut fundraiser. So keep an eye out for the form in your children's school bag.
Then we will be providing a fun and entertaining night for the adults! Our Quiz night that we had to sadly reschedule from last year due to over-committing to other projects. The Quiz night will be on Friday, June 14th, at the Creyk Park Pavilion, starting at 7pm. So get your babysitters locked in and get your friends, family, and work colleagues together to enjoy a child-free night out!
We have some new picnic tables in the making with the Waterwheel Community Shed and are currently awaiting delivery. It is exciting to finally upgrade the current tables that are getting a little worse for wear.
Due to the current climate and many changes happening where our bank branch is closing and having to have minimum requirements to deposit cash, we are having to change to a cashless system. The P&F Committee has purchased and set up a new digital payment system and we will leave this in reception at the times when a payment by card is required. Our other alternatives for payments to the P&F are PayID and bank transfer. We thank you for your patience as we make these changes and thank the school community for all of your support.
Lastly, as things change and life happens we need more hands on deck from our school community in the way of volunteers to assist with events and also new committee members.
The requirement is one meeting per month on Wednesday mornings, where we discuss plans and projects and also talk about the progress, successes, and rewards we have provided for the school. Please feel free to come and sit in on our next meeting on Wednesday 24th April and see if there is something you could do to take some weight off the shoulders of the members that have been carrying out all the work for many years.
We wish you a safe and happy term break and we cannot wait to have a dance, play some games, and have a some pizza with you all in the second week of Term 2!
Sincerely,
The P&F Committee
