Eloise Pryde

 

Eloise Pryde has been swimming competitively for 3 years. During her time at Kambrya, Eloise has also represented the school in the SSV swimming competitions aswell as representing Kambrya in cross country and other sports over those 4 years.

 

At swim club level, Eloise has qualified to compete in VIC Metro Melbourne Championships, VIC State Age Championships, VIC Sprint Championships & VIC Open Championships. Eloise has now achieved a qualifying time to compete in the National Long Course Age Group Swim 50m Backstroke and will be representing her club at the upcoming 2024 Australian Age and MC Age Championship in Gold Coast in April this year. 

 

Eloise has demonstrated exceptional dedication, skill and sportsmanship in her pursuit of excellence in swimming. Her hard work and commitment to the sport have earned prestigious qualification and respect among peers and fellow swimmers. We wish to congratulate Eloise on these wonderful achievements and wish her success at the National Championships.

 

Annual Staff vs Year 10 Students Football Match – ‘The Aaron Sawers Cup’

 

On Thursday March 14th the Year 10 Student cohort participated in the annual Staff vs Year 10 Student football match A.K.A. ‘The Aaron Sawers Cup’. The match was played in great spirit by both students and staff, it was a fantastic event. 

 

The final score saw the teachers prevail for the fifth year running. 

 

Teachers 8.3.51 defeated Year 10 Students 1.2.8

 

Best On Ground was awarded to Mr Hicks who kicked a game high 4 goals. Well done Mr Hicks!

Year 10 Team Building Day

 

On Tuesday March 19th the Year 10 Cohort ventured out to Mornington Life Saving Club at Schnapper Point for the Year 10 Team Building Day. The Students were blessed with a warm day and participated in a range of activities. The activities included swimming on the beach with lifeguards, a beach walk, beach volleyball, spikeball, sandcastle building, team building activities and other beach games. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day developing connections with their peers and represented the college extremely well on the excursion. Well done year 10s!
