From the School Leadership Team

L'équipe de direction de CJC

Dear CJC community,

The end of Term 1 has arrived. It only seems a short while ago that our preps commenced their schooling and watching them yesterday during the parent open learning morning I was so impressed as to how far they have come and how proud they were to show their visitors what they have been learning.

We can be very proud of what we have achieved, accomplished and developed this term. In such a short space of time we have made a big impact in classrooms, across the programs in our school and with the addition of facilities and upgrades our school is more than ready to commence Term 2 on April 15th.

Many thanks to our local schools who were very supportive and sent staff to cover the classes on Monday afternoon so we could farewell Diana Duimovich. The support of the CJC community has been of great comfort during this time of challenge and we thank all our families for this incredible compassion and care.

The Open to Learning Parent sessions on Wednesday were extremely well attended. The numbers of visitors was an increase on other days and we welcome this level of support and connection from our community. Learning is a partnership and your attendance at these events reinforces the work we are undertaking at CJC to build our community partnerships.

School commences for Term 2 on Monday April 15th at 8.50 am.

Over the school holidays we are replacing and extending the decking on the back of the Senior Learning centre. This work will create more useable space and create an outdoor multi-use space for our senior classes and the TeamKids program.
