Year 10 Update

Acknowledgements and exciting opportunities

Finishing the term strongly

As we approach the end of Term One, it's a good time to reflect on the achievements and endeavours of our students here at Shelford. Amidst the busy schedule of Common Assessment Tasks (CATs), the Year 10s have shown dedication to their studies, exemplifying commendable study habits that will serve them well in their academic journey.

I am thrilled to announce the election of Bronte F (10A) and Milly VD (10B) as Parliamentarians for 2024. Congratulations to both Bronte and Milly; I have no doubt they will excel in their new roles, bringing their unique talents and leadership qualities to benefit the entire Year 10 cohort. I would also like to congratulate the students who made speeches last week to nominate for House Performing Arts and Sports Captains.

Furthermore, I want to express my appreciation to Grace E, Winnie R and Annabelle W for their exceptional contributions during the Year 7 camp. Their commitment to serving as role models and mentors exemplifies the values we have at Shelford and we are incredibly proud of their efforts. Thank you Grace, Winnie and Annabelle for your invaluable contributions to our school community.
