Year 8 Update

Term 1 Reflection

I think we are all pinching ourselves with the realisation that it is already the end of Term One! It has flown by so quickly with many exciting memories in between. 

I asked the Year 8s to provide something to share for the Newsletter this week to reflect and summarise their learning so far for Term One. 

Chloe B has kindly provided an image she created with the program Procreate. This term in Art classes students have been exploring Pop Art culture. Thanks for sharing, Chloe.  

Alex R has shared some very neat Maths notes which showcase her learning and growth in Maths, the students have been learning about percentages and fractions. Impressive work Alex, thank you. 

Term One has been a wonderful opportunity for the Year 8s to gain a new perspective of the Senior School and begin to understand themselves a little better as learners.  

Rest well over the holidays, take the time to follow your hobbies, recuperate with your friends and family in person and I look forward to welcoming you all back in Term Two.
