Principal's News

Pauline Cutajar

As I reflect on our first term, a term that has passed way too quickly, I am filled with both gratitude and pride. I am grateful to both staff and students for their contributions over the term and for the sense of joy and celebration that they have brought to each day and each event that we have hosted.

This term has certainly been a whirlwind of activity, and it has been a joy to watch our students continuing to participate fully in the life of the School. In contemplating the past few months, it's evident that the resilience and commitment displayed by our students and staff have been truly inspiring.

In a recent assembly, I encouraged our students to take the time over the break to reflect on the term, on what has gone well, but importantly on the term or terms that are to come and setting goals accordingly. I reminded them of the importance of taking time to appreciate their time at Shelford and really enjoying our community.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our families who have continued to work in partnership with us throughout the term, for the benefit of our students. May the upcoming break provide time for rest, rejuvenation and precious time with family and friends. I look forward to seeing our students return on Tuesday April 16, refreshed and ready for the opportunities that await us.
