Principal's Report
Principal's Report
What a fantastic Term 1 it has been at Belmont High. I’d like to thank all the students and families for supporting us in such a positive start to the school year. Term 1 has been jam-packed with Year 12 & 7 camps, swimming sports, NAPLAN, school photos, VCE study sessions, music performances, Open Night and we’ve even managed to squeeze a bit of teaching and learning in there.
The positive start sets us up in a terrific position to continue the great work in Term 2.

SEALP Early Entry
The Department of Education has agreed to support a one-year trial in 2024, whereby Geelong secondary schools can offer placement in year 7 for 2025 prior to the state-wide year 6-7 placement timeline. The trial will include Belmont High School’s SEAL Program.
Importantly, only students who live within Belmont High School’s designated neighbourhood school zone will be able to apply and participate in early testing.
