2024 SEASON OF EXCELLENCE

It has been a massive couple of weeks for our Visual Arts department, with Janelle Moss and Amelie Ashley having their 2023 12 Art Making and Exhibiting artworks exhibited at Victorian public galleries.

On Friday 8 March, we attended the Future Creatives exhibition opened by the City of Greater Geelong Mayor Trent Sullivan at the Geelong Gallery. Amelie’s ‘Her ‘Steria (Hysteria) is currently on display until 5 May.

Both students have been recognised for their A+ School-assessed task achievements and selected for the excellence of their Unit 4 finished artworks. This year’s Season of Excellence did not disappoint! A visit to Geelong Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria to see these exhibitions, will make the perfect days out over the Easter school holidays.
