Wellbeing and Diversity

Meet the Wellbeing Student Leadership Team

I would like to introduce you all to my amazing Wellbeing Team.

Please say hello to Bella L, Lila R, Sheridan & Maxwell. They will be supporting me with all things Wellbeing throughout the year. Their hard work to help prepare everything for Harmony Day was very much appreciated and they supported myself, Kristin & Mrs Buscema to create a day that everyone was able to enjoy. I am certainly looking forward to all the amazing things that we will be able to achieve together as a team.

Harmony Day

On Monday we celebrated Harmony day with the Whole School. We learnt about many different countries, their cultures, traditions and their cooking.

A highlight was experiencing African Drumming with Simon and Fred. We all attended a workshop to learn the drumming and to practice some dancing also.

Other workshops included:

  • Indian Cooking with the Bowers family
  • Italian bruschetta with Ange Natoli
  • Cook Island fish salad cooking with Peri Natoli
  • Indigenous, culture, stories and artefacts with Boston, Sahara and Elisha
  • Lapathon
  • Coin Trail

Thank-you to all the families who gave their time and expertise to make this years Harmony Day an extra one. It is so important to understand and celebrate our many different backgrounds.
