Staff Introductions
Marisa Box
My name is Marisa Box and I’m currently teaching Year 3/4 at St John’s. I have worked as a teacher for many years and find it very rewarding seeing the growth in all students and the confidence they gain throughout the year. I have a class pet named Nacho, who is an axolotl.
I am married with four children and in my ‘spare’ time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and hitting the gym.
Clorinda Maio
Hi, my name is Clorinda Maio and I feel so privileged to be part of the St John’s community. In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Deakin University. Following that, I gained three years of valuable experience as an LSO before embarking on my teaching career at St John’s in 2022 as a Year 3/4 teacher. Although I am currently away from school, I eagerly look forward to my return and the opportunity to work with younger students in Year 1/2. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Beyond the classroom, you will often find me enjoying the beach on sunny days or spending quality time with my family and friends.
