Principal's Update

Dear Families,

We are all looking forward to our school athletic sports tomorrow. Many thanks as always to Miss Dortmans for her organisation of the day and to our staff who start the day at 7.30 a.m. setting up at Dudley Cornell.

These days are always really busy days for children and staff. We aim to have the children participate as much as possible, have fun, and support each other. Moving children from event to event and keeping them in order is a big job.

We ask families attending the day to check in with the staff if they need help. We often need support to run events, walk children around, take them to the toilet, offer encouragement, pick up knocked down equipment like hurdles, etc. This community support means the day runs smoothly.

For many of our children, this is the first chance they will have had to participate in athletics. Let's be a community that supports all our kids and celebrates their achievements and attempts.
