Grade 1/2L

The Grade one’s andtwo’s have been off to afun and exciting start toour 2026 year. We beginour term with our Learn-to-Learn program for thefirst two weeks of school.During this time, thestudents have theopportunity to get to knoweach other, learn tonavigate our classroomexpectations, as well as begin developing our PBL values of Respect, Responsibility,and Resilience. This week, the students engage with a range of literacy andnumeracy activities. One of which was reading ‘The Magical Yet’ as a class. Thisbook details all the things we can’t do… but with the power of the word ‘yet’, thesethings become achievable as we work towards them. Students were then tasked towrite down things that 

they want to achieve in the future. Some Answered includedwriting perfectly, graduating school and learning how to drive.
