This year marks a return to the Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships curriculum. It is a research-informed approach to provide age-appropriate learning activities to enable students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills required for respectful relationships.

Topic areas in the RRRR resources are:

  • Emotional literacy
  • Personal and cultural strengths
  • Positive coping
  • Problem-solving
  •  Stress management
  • Help-seeking
  • Gender norms and stereotypes
  • Positive gender relationships

Over the next two weeks, students will complete the introductory activities, before commencing the first topic: Emotional literacy.

In this topic, students will explore what emotions are, what they sound like and what they feel like. They will investigate emotions throughout the day and how we use them to build a classroom community.

AT HOME ACTIVITY
