The school uses Chromebooks on a very protected internet provider. AT SCHOOL - We monitor the children's accounts and their use of the machines at all times. We teach them about dangers and responsibilities. We shut down parts of the web and block them.
What do you do? Where does your student access the internet? Have you set up a safe space for them to learn?
Fortunately, the federal government is here to help . Follow this QR code to access the parent part of the e-safety website full of hints, tricks and educational ideas for you.
PARENTAL TIP FOR E-SAFETY. Do not allow primary aged children access to the internet in places where they are unsupervised. Alone in bedrooms or hiding away from you? Take an interest in where they go and what they do. If they do come across something they don’t understand how much easier for them if you are there! Hidden internet use is inappropriate internet use.
