VISUAL ART

This term in Visual Art students will explore the Elements of Art starting with a project using the LPS mascots - the Yarra Pygmy Perch, Genyornis and Diprotodon. Students will dive into the values of Learning, Positivity and Safety while exploring their creativity using colour play, line art and dot painting. 

To begin the term all classes have been designing a ‘heart map’ where they have drawn, written and collaged all the things they love into the shape of a heart. Students enjoyed playing with colour, texture and most of all expressing themselves, the things they care most about and their passions. Each heart will be added together to create a collaborative art piece that represents the heart of LPS so keep an eye out for the final piece.
