NDIS Navigator

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely holiday season and kept cool in the recent heat!

It's wonderful to be back at school again and seeing our student's happy to be here!

I wanted to reintroduce my role, since it's the start of the year, in case I can be of any help to you. I am the NDIS Navigator at Croydon SDS, working two days a week to support families in accessing, understanding and navigating the NDIS. 

This might include:

• Helping you understand changes to the NDIS
• Guiding you through the NDIS application process
• Supporting you in NDIS preparations for your child finishing school
• Providing letters of support from school to provide to NDIS
• Communicating with external therapists to ensure collaboration for your child's needs
• Supporting you to prepare for NDIS Reviews and/or appeals

This year, (from the week of Feb 16th), my days will be Wednesday and Friday, working in the Family Support Office. Please feel free to drop in, or make an appointment by contacting the office or emailing me if you would like to speak about anything NDIS related. SAVE THE DATE- CAREERS EXPO:           SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS & FAMILIES

If your child is graduating this year or in the following 1-2 years, please save this date for our 'Careers Expo'. We have a number of post-school providers lined up to attend and be available to answer any of your questions, it should be a great night!
