We have had a big start to Term 3 for school sports. Our Intermediate and Senior Girls Netball teams headed out, with the Senior Girls making it through to the Western Metro Finals. They played some amazing netball and represented the school with pride. Our Junior and Senior Boys Netball teams showed some amazing skill at the division competition, with the Year 8 Boys team making it through to the Western Metro Finals.

Our Junior Girls Netball team represented the school at the Netball Victoria Championship, where they played incredibly well as a team and progressed through to the State Championship later this term.

We had an impressive six students represent Sunbury College at the State Championship for Cross Country. Congratulations to Alexandra Nichols (finished 45th), Charlotte Nichols (finished 13th), Max Dremel (finished 13th), Mason Murphy (finished 30th), Michael Brown (finished 25th) and Abbey Nicholls for making it through.

In April, Tyler Stott headed to the 2026 Australian Athletics Junior Championships in Brisbane to compete in the Under 18 400m Hurdles. A big congratulations to Tyler for finishing seventh in the final. Tyler has also been selected for the Youth Summit Leadership Camp with the Melbourne Storm and is heading to Sydney this term.
