BOOK WEEK DRESS-UP DAY 

Our Book Week Dress-Up Day was a fantastic celebration of books, characters and our love of reading! It was wonderful to see so many students (and staff!) arrive in creative and colourful costumes inspired by their favourite books and characters. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make the day so much fun.

As part of the dress-up day, students were invited to bring along a gold coin donation in support of Story Dogs. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, we raised an amazing $340!

Story Dogs is a program that helps children build their reading confidence and skills by giving them the opportunity to read to a friendly, trained dog and its handler. The calm and supportive environment helps children practise their reading without worrying about making mistakes.

A big thank you to all of our students and families for embracing the Book Week spirit and for your generous donations. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our love of reading while supporting a fantastic cause!
