ICAS News

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Catherine McAuley will be participating in the ICAS Assessments this year. ICAS is an elite annual competition to recognise academic excellence designed to target students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics and Science. We would like to invite any interested students from Grades 2 - 6 to participate. 

Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.

These assessments will take place during the day at school during the following weeks.

English - Term 3 Week 4 (12th-16th August)

Science - Term 3 Week 5 (19th - 23rd August)

Mathematics -  Term 3 Week 6 (26th - 30th August)

Parent payment system 

Our school has signed up for the ICAS Assessments parent payment system (PPS) for (English, Maths and Science). Through this system parents can pay for ICAS directly online while tests will still be held at our school. Please use the following details to register your child no later than Monday 29th July, 2024.   

How to participate in ICAS  

If you wish for your child to participate in ICAS this year, please:  

1. Read about ICAS subjects and prices here (icasassessments.com/products-icas)  
2. Read the terms and conditions here (icasassessments.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/2023-ICAS-Assessments-Parents-PPS-TsCs_final.pdf) 
3. Go to Parent Portal to purchase tests  here (shop.icasassessments.com/pages/pps) 
4. Enter our school’s access code – TKA806
5. Enter your child’s details, select the tests you would like to purchase, then proceed to payment.
