Year 12 Theatre Studies

Performance of "The 39 Steps"

Creating a school theatre production with just three people was both daunting and rewarding. We faced numerous challenges, from multi-role acting and managing technical aspects, to balancing rehearsals with schoolwork. Absences were particularly detrimental, as each of us played multiple crucial roles. Yet, these difficulties spurred our creativity, strengthened our bond and honed our skills across all facets of theatre production. Our minimalist approach showcased our performances, leading to successful shows and positive feedback. This experience taught us perseverance and teamwork, inspired our peers and deepened our appreciation for the art of theatre. Despite the obstacles, the journey was incredibly rewarding and highlighted the power of passion and hard work.
