Reviewing Learning in Mathematics

At St James this term there has been a large focus on reviewing learning from the previous day and at times, from lessons taught one week or one month ago. These lessons have generally happened at the beginning of a new mathematics lesson. As learners, we know that we don't always master something straight away and our brains are prone to forgetting. We encourage all students to be thinkers. I wonder if your child has talked about what Daily Review looks like in their classroom. Has your child talked to you about phrases such as 'Çhin it' or 'Hover It?'
